5 Seconds to Launch
Kill procrastination before it kills your idea.

Motivation is a myth. You are never going to “feel” like doing the hard stuff.
We all stare at the screen, waiting for inspiration to strike. It won’t. Your brain is wired to protect you from discomfort. It’s an over-protective sabotage machine.
“If you have an impulse to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill it.” — Mel Robbins
The moment you hesitate, the excuses start piling up. The 5-Second Rule is a brute-force attack on your own resistance.
The Protocol
It’s stupidly simple. When you know you need to do something:
- Count backwards: 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.
- GO. Move physically.
Why it works
Counting backwards interrupts the habit loop. It shifts your brain from the amygdala (fear/habit) to the prefrontal cortex (decision/action).
You can’t control how you feel, but you can always control how you act.
Stop thinking. Start moving.
