Kura — Your New Tab, Fixed
A clean, private link manager.
Browser bookmarks are a digital graveyard. You save a link, it disappears into a folder hierarchy, and you never see it again. The default “New Tab” page isn’t much better—usually just ads or blank space.
I built Kura to fix both.
It’s a clean, aesthetic dashboard designed to replace the default Firefox tab. Think Bonjourr, but with actual link management features that don’t suck.
“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
What it does
Kura keeps it simple but functional.
- Dashboard: Beautiful video (Pexels) or image (Unsplash) backgrounds.
- Link Management: A folder system that actually works. Drag, drop, organize.
- Widgets: Weather, IP info, Speedtest, and World Clock. No useless clutter.
- Privacy: Everything is stored locally. You can even lock specific folders with a code.
The Stack
Built with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Web-ext. It’s lightweight, and respects your privacy.
Grab it on the Firefox Add-ons Store.
